  • ABOUT OLAFIKA
    The Olafika SME Development & Mentorship Programme is an Entrepreneurship Programme in partnership with the Namibia Diamond Trading Company (NDTC), Konrad-Adenauer- Stiftung (KAS), Africa Leadership Institute (ALI), and the Namibian government through the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development.This year, 150 emerging and budding entrepreneurs will be identified from across Namibia for a training and mentorship programme intended to grow their businesses. Be one of them!WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?Applicants;• Must be Namibian between the ages of 24 and 35. Exceptional applicants aged 19-23 will be considered• Must have a registered business• Must provide proof of an existing business bank account• Must possess a Grade 10 pass or more. Applicants without a Grade 10 pass must provide proof/declaration that the business is over 3 years (recognition of prior experience)

    • Are not employees or immediate family members of employees of the Olafika Stakeholders

    • Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English

    • Must be computer literate

    • Must be able to meet with their mentor online at least 8 hours a month

    • Must be able to access the internet and send emails to their Mentor every week

    • Must be passionate about working with a Mentor to build their skills and confidence, and achieve key learning objectives

    • Must be keen to contribute to a national community of entrepreneurs
