KAS is a German Political Foundation with Freedom, Justice and Solidarity being their basic principles underlying their work.

KAS dedicates its efforts to promoting the development of the SME sector in Namibia with the aim to unlock the potential of Namibia’s SME sector.

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is highly convinced that encouraging

entrepreneurial spirit and building the capacities needed to set up and manage SMEs can be means to achieve long-term prosperity for the Namibian people.

The Local Economic Development Agency (LEDA), a division under the MURD supports local authorities and the regional councils in stimulating local economic development (LED) through capacity building, strategy development and implementation, funding and networking.

Their mandate not only includes coordinating development at local level, they also have a responsibility to capacitate both the Development practitioners and SMEs in various Local and Regional Authorities in terms of business development and support.

The LEDA plays an instrumental and important role of sourcing quality entrepreneurs in the respective regions to participate in the Olafika Programme

The Twapewa Kadhikwa Institute of Entrepreneurship & SME Development, founded by renowned local entrepreneur Twapewa Kadhikwa provides capacity building and skills transfer through business training and mentorship with the aim of “Raising A Generation of Business Minded People”.

Twapewa Kadhikwa Is also the Brainchild of the Olafika SME Development & Mentorship Programme
